Our Partners

A Three-Partner Network

  • Session I: From Past to Present: 10 Years of Heart Failure Innovation

Session I: From Past to Present

In celebration of ten years, this opening session revisits the foundational research that shaped our understanding.

    • Speaker Name, MD, PhD
    • Researcher Name, MSc
  • Emerging Frontiers

    Session II: Emerging Frontiers

A deep dive into cutting-edge methodologies currently in trials.

  • Scaling Impact

    Session III: Implementation & Scale

Practical strategies for bringing evidence-based protocols into community settings.

Collaboration Network

Our Research Network At A Glance

Network analysis of research papers published by TRCHR faculty. Node size reflects publication volume; edges represent co-authorship.
  • Fragmented Research Landscape

    Before TRCHR: Fragmented Research

Prior to the centre’s founding, research efforts were siloed across institutions with limited co-authorship.

    • Lead Researcher, Dr. Sarah Chen, PhD
    • Co-Investigator, Dr. James Okafor, MD
  • Dense Collaboration Network

    After TRCHR: Dense Collaboration

Following the establishment of TRCHR, co-authorship networks expanded dramatically, a 340% increase in cross-institutional edges.

  • Publication Volume Analysis

    Faculty Impact by Publication Volume

Node size scales with publication volume. The five largest nodes each represent faculty who have published over 40 papers.

Accreditations

Accreditations and Learning Objectives

Eligible attendees may claim credits through the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC) and the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC).

The 2026 Heart Failure Symposium is an accredited continuing education event. Accrediting bodies include:

  • Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC)
  • College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC)

Credits are awarded based on time attended. Participants are responsible for tracking and claiming their own credits.

This symposium is designed for physicians, scientists, trainees, and allied health professionals working in cardiovascular research and care.

What participants will gain:

  1. Discuss emerging tools, targets, and treatments in heart failure research.
  2. Evaluate recent findings in biological, genomic, and digital approaches to heart failure.
  3. Identify opportunities to apply precision medicine and equitable care models in practice.
